In partnership with Montgomery Housing Partnership and the Latino Economic Development Center, Shannon helped to rebrand the Latina-owned Roxana Floral gift shop in Silver Spring, MD.The main goal of the rebrand was to reflect the flower component of Roxana’s multi-service brick-and-mortar shop and complement its serendipitous storefront along none other than Flower Avenue. Shannon created whimsical illustrations of bouquet flowers such as roses, carnations and mums. Using these new illustrations as a design theme while preserving Roxana’s existing logo-type, we created a new hanging sign, a hand-painted store facade, and also a bilingual sidewalk sign (featuring her services in Spanish on one side and English on the other).
